At Frutality, sustainability has never been just a headline.

It’s the way we’ve worked since our very first delivery: with actions, not slogans. Here are the certifications, data, and real actions that prove it—ready to share as-is with your HR or procurement team.

What we can verify, not just claim

These are the certifications that back up our commitment with facts. The rest are real actions that we measure and publish every day, even if they don’t have a seal behind them.

Frutality is a Certified B Corp™

This certification, granted by B Lab™, evaluates and verifies companies’ performance in five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers, while also requiring commitments to public transparency and legal accountability.

As a B Corp™, we are part of a global movement of companies seeking to balance economic profit with a positive impact on people and the planet. For Frutality, this translates into concrete decisions: we work with local farmers under a fair-price policy, maintain a commitment to zero waste by eliminating single-use plastic packaging, and implement equal pay and real work-life balance measures internally, such as remote work and flexible hours.

In 2025, together with our customers, we saved more than 40,000 kg of fresh fruit and reduced CO₂ emissions by more than 50 metric tons. The certification is renewed every three years, with an ongoing assessment of our impact.

Certified in Carbon Footprint Management

Our ISO 14064-1 certification ensures that every fruit delivery to your company follows a controlled and measured process, aimed at continuously reducing our environmental impact.

ISO 14064-1

Committed to reforestation

For every customer, we plant a tree. This certified initiative allows us to regenerate forests and offset the emissions from our deliveries, ensuring that your fruit is as fresh for your team as it is sustainable for the world.

Certified by the UN Global Compact’s Sustainable Supplier Program

Another step forward in our commitment to demonstrating sustainability through real actions, and a mark of trust for the companies that rely on us every day.

Commitments that underpin these certifications

They don’t come with a stamp, but they’re just as real and measurable as the rest. They’ve been part of our day-to-day operations long before we became certified.

A supplier that adds to your reporting, not takes away from it

A less visible factor is becoming increasingly important in purchasing and HR decisions: the sustainability of everything that comes through the office door, including suppliers. Regulations such as the CSRD and the upcoming CSDDD extend this requirement to the entire value chain, including whoever restocks the fruit in your office.

Simpler Reporting

Having a supplier certified and trained in sustainability simplifies your procurement department’s reporting.

Traceable Emissions

Emissions traceability (ISO 14064-1) is data you can incorporate directly into your own sustainability report.

ESG Criteria Covered

Workplace inclusion agreements and internal labor standards reinforce the ESG criteria your company already requires of its suppliers.

Frequently Asked Questions, Straightforward Answers

These are the questions we’re most often asked by procurement and HR teams before they start working with us. If you don’t see your question here, write to us and we’ll give you a straightforward answer.

What sustainability certifications does Frutality have?

Frutality holds four third-party certifications: B Corp™ certification, which evaluates performance in governance, workers, community, environment, and customers; ISO 14064-1, for carbon footprint tracking; Tree-Nation’s reforestation certification (more than 2,000 trees planted); and the UN Global Compact’s Sustainable Suppliers Program, launched together with ICEX España and Fundación ICO. In addition, we maintain active commitments such as a 1.2% waste/spoilage ratio and workplace inclusion agreements with Fundación Adecco and Grupo SIFU.

B Corp™ certification is a seal awarded by B Lab™ that evaluates and verifies company performance across five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers, and also requires commitments to public transparency and legal accountability. It’s not a one-time award, but an assessment that’s revalidated every three years.

For your company, working with a certified B Corp™ supplier like Frutality offers several concrete advantages:

  • Data verified by an independent third party, useful for your own sustainability report or CSR report, rather than relying solely on what a supplier says about itself.
  • Real impact traceability: you can cite concrete figures like our 1.2% waste/spoilage ratio, the more than 2,000 trees planted with Tree-Nation, or our participation in the UN Global Compact’s Sustainable Suppliers Program.
  • Alignment with your own corporate wellness and sustainability goals, with a supplier whose performance has been externally evaluated, not just self-reported.
  • Lower reputational risk in your supply chain, by bringing in a supplier whose social and environmental standards are verified and subject to periodic reassessment.

Tree-Nation certifies that Frutality plants one tree for every new customer to regenerate forests and offset the emissions from its deliveries. To date, Frutality has planted more than 2,000 trees through this certified program.

It is an initiative of the UN Global Compact in Spain, in partnership with ICEX Spain and the ICO Foundation, that trains supplier companies on the Ten Principles of the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda: human rights, labor standards, the environment, and the fight against corruption. Frutality completed the program in July 2026.

ISO 14064-1 verifies that Frutality rigorously measures and manages its carbon footprint. For your company, this means being able to rely on a fruit and snack supplier with traceable emissions data when preparing your own sustainability reports.

Yes. Regulations such as the CSRD and the upcoming CSDDD require large companies to demonstrate the sustainability of their entire supply chain, including service providers such as office fruit delivery. Working with a supplier that is certified and trained in sustainability simplifies this reporting and reduces the risk for procurement and HR teams.

Frutality maintains a waste rate of 1.2% compared to the industry average of 10%, works with local farmers under a fair-price policy and uses seasonal fruit, reuses packaging from the farm, and uses display boxes made from certified wood. It also has workforce inclusion agreements with the Adecco Foundation and the SIFU Group.

Frutality delivers fresh fruit and healthy snacks, serving more than one million portions per month to over 2,500 companies. With a key presence in Madrid and a recent expansion into Barcelona from Mercabarna, we serve the entire Iberian Peninsula, including Portugal, as well as the Balearic and Canary Islands.

At Frutality, we are committed to local and sustainable products. We have strategic agreements with an extensive network of local partners and producers, which allows us to offer fresh, seasonal fruit while significantly reducing our carbon footprint in distribution.

Of course, thanks to our agreement with GRUPO SIFU, we employ people with disabilities in various areas of the company, from order fulfillment and delivery to customer service and administration. If you’d like your fruit service to count toward your alternative measures, we can help you—always in compliance with the law.
